Queen Elizabeth the second

Our nation’s beloved Queen as left us to soon.

Her commitment to her duties as remained true and stedfast.

She wasn’t just a queen to the United Kingdom and Commonwealth, she   was a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

A leader of our great nation.

Long may her spirit live on.

May she rest in peace.

She is now joining Prince Phillip, the man she loved and who was constantly at her side.

Long live the Queen within the hearts of  her people.

A Queen of the people and our longest serving Monarch.

It was an honour to be one of your loyal subjects.

About Me

Hi and welcome to my blog space and  my  long  journey of  following my dreams.    My name is Rebecca  Anne Dillon and I have been battling through issues with mobility since the age of 5 which I now have a diagnosis of  dissociative motor disorder.  I have been writing since I was a small child and tended to get frustrated because my mind works quicker than I can get my ideas down. I wrote starts for stories that I never seemed to finish because other stories came in to my head at the same time  so I have been trying to record those other stories while still working on my first story.  I signed up for Holly’s free plot outline and bought the bundle writing clinics, the dialogue and subtext, motivation, I then bought how to think sideways which was the best decision I ever made .  I then bought how to revise a novel which was also the best decision I have ever made and then I bought how to write a series which as also been the best decision I made.  I had issues with bullying  at school because I also answered questions in class in great detail other students didn’t know what I was talking about.  I was also reading Shakespeare at the age  of nine.  By thirteen I was holding my own in a conversation on sociology of race relations.  I have been to college and studied Travel and Tourism and Caribbean History.   During the summer I have done film making  and I have also studied media studies.  I was hoping to go to university and become a teacher but due to my medical condition I had to give up on that dream. My writing as kept me sane because it as allowed me to invent my own worlds of wonder.  I have my own unique filing system and I am very good at filing and organizing my own work and other people’s work so they can find their notes and assignments.  While at college doing Caribbean History the most words I have ever written were 1500 for an assignment which earned me a level 3.

Writer’s Creed

I want to accomplish telling a story that as meaning with characters that are well rounded and not flat on the page. I also want to tell a story from beginning to end that I am passionate about and a story that keeps me awake at night until it is on the page. I want to be able to write something from the heart that I am proud of and feel that it is the best I can write.
