The True Message Being Forgotten

Oh Christmas full of glee.

Children nagging parents for the latest must haves.

People carolling.

Church services beginning in earnest.

Advent calendars being opened.

Presents being wrapped.

The glass baubles dancing on the Christmas tree needles.

Paper chains hanging on the ceiling.

Chestnuts roasting on the open fire.

Eating Christmas dinner.

Reindeer’s tapping on the snow on the roof.

Twinkling of the lights.

A silhouette of Santa flying across a full moon.

The true message being forgotten.

Christmas On Bondi Beach

G’Day from Bondi Beach.

Christmas Day Barbie .

Drinking and being merry.

Santa on a surfboard giving the seasonal party revellers their presents.

Carols being sung.

Christmas

People hurrying through the streets on Christmas Eve in a last ditch attempt at getting all the food items they forgot.

Men trying to find that lucky lady in their lives sexy Lingerie.

The Nativity scene carefully unpacked and proudly displayed.

The Christmas lights turned on.

The pantomimes beginning.

Mulled wine brewed.

Writing Christmas cards and catching the last post.

Ye Ole Yuletide

Ye Ole Yuletide cometh.

Ye Ole Yuletide cometh.

Bring thy joy of ye Ole Yuletide.

Bring thy joy of ye Ole Yuletide.

Closeth thy book of yuletides gone.

Closeth thy book of yuletides gone.

Fir Tree

Little fir tree three foot tall.

You are growing straight and true.

Don’t worry one day you will reach up to the heavens.

You come from a long line of small trees.

Don’t be despondent because they have all grown up.

These trees have all grown to six foot tall so there is hope for you.

Sitting on the kitchen worktop partially made trifle waiting for the sherry.

Along came the mother who added a little sherry.

The grandfather came along and added the remainder of the Harvey’s Bristol cream sherry.

Merry Christmas To One And All

Christmas time is for families.

Spreading joy and festivities to one and all.

Bringing peace and good will to all.

Going to every man, woman and child saying merry Christmas.

Seasonal greetings for this time of year to one and all.

Drinking mull wine and singing carols.

Seasonal greetings for this time of year to one and all.

The Festive Season

Christmas can be a joyous time.

Decking the halls with plenty of decorations

Christmas is a time for families.

The festive season can be lonely if you have no one.

Festive food a plenty.

An empty chair at the table.

Gifts opened scattered paper and tags everywhere.

The excited faces of children Christmas day morn.

An untouched stocking hanging on the fireplace.

Plenty of alcohol flowing.

Santa’s Lost Christmas

Santa had started his elves working and Mrs. Clause had taken

Santa’s suit out for him and noticed that the seam had gone in the crotch area of the trousers and it is Christmas eve and she hadn’t got time to mend them so she decided once she had got dressed in her Mrs. Clause suit, fed the reindeers and the sleigh was loaded that this year she was going to deliver the presents because she didn’t see any reason why Santa should have all the fun.

She rode through the sky saying ho! Ho and calling the reindeers on who were pulling the sleigh getting all their names right and saving Christmas.

The Waterfall

Water was cascading down the fall like sapphires.

A unicorn was bathing in its mystical waters.

The water felt like sapphires upon the naked flesh.

Moon

Ode to the moon who’s beauty can’t be described.

Her beauty never fails to amaze people who worship her.

She is only viewable in the evening sky on a clear night.

A wolf howls at the moon’s beauty.

Her pale complexion is like milk.

Shih Tzu

A brave mountain lion was standing guard.

Your tan coat was shining like the sun.

You were standing as still as stone.

You came to life as a protector to your master.

Red Rose

The red rose was the colour of blood.

This red rose grew in the forbidden garden.

No one dared to pick this rose; it bore the mark of death.

The red rose brought with it despair and death;

Beware of the forbidden!

Do not speak of the forbidden:

Stay away from the garden of doom.

This red rose is a sign of doom.

Beware of this red rose.

You may believe this red rose to be a sign of love,

This rose is not a sign of love it is the mark of death!

Beware! Beware! The red rose of death.

The thorn of this rose is as prickly as the back of a hedgehog.

The leaves are like rubber against the skin.

Red petals of the rose have been scattered upon the ground like a carpet.

These rose petals have become a bed of eternal sleep.

The thorn hath pricked her finger and sent her into an eternal sleep.

This rose petal hath become the final resting place.

A Secret Room Beyond The Mortal Realm

A five-year-old girl called Jo stays at her grandfather’s house in the country.

Her grandfather who she loved very much was a very strange and secretive old man because he locks himself away in a room that he always keeps locked.

While in this room, Randolph goes back to his true form a very tiny fairy.

While in his fairy form, he only measures twelve inches standing upright.

When Randolph spends time with his granddaughter, he manages to keep the outline of his wings hidden from her and everyone else.

One day however in his rush to revert back to his true form he forgets to lock his secret room door before he turns himself into a fairy and in walks his granddaughter Jo who sees him for the first time as a fairy.

Jo walks out of her grandfather’s secret blue oval room while he turns himself back into his human form.

He tells Jo that she must not tell anyone his secret about him being a fairy.

Jo asked her grandfather if her grandmother Joan knew his secret.

Grandpa Randolph said “no!”
